Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply for AIBE XVIII (18) 2023-24?
To appear for the AIBE XVIII (18) 2023-24, you need to meet certain eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification
Candidates who have passed a three-year LLB or five-year LLB degree from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) are eligible to appear for the AIBE exam.
Bar Council Registration
Candidates must have registered with a state bar council as an advocate.
Age Limit
There is no age limit prescribed by BCI.
Number of Attempts
BCI does not prescribe any limitation on the number of attempts. However, candidates must pass the AIBE exam within two years from the date of registration at the state bar council.
Documents Required for AIBE 18 Application Form 2023-24
Before you begin filling out the application form, ensure that you have the following documents in the required format:
- Photograph (passport size): 10 – 50 kb, JPG/JPEG format
- Signature: 10 – 50 kb
- Copy of enrollment certificate: 50 – 500 kb
- Self-attested copy of photo id proof: 50 – 500 kb
Additionally, you should also keep the following documents handy while filling out the registration form:
- LLB graduation certificate
- LLB mark sheets
- LLM certificate and mark sheet (In case of additional qualification)
- Advocate ID card (If issued by the state bar council)
Step-by-Step Guide to Filling AIBE XVIII (18) 2023-24 Application Form
Step 1 – AIBE XVIII (18) Registration
- Visit the official website of AIBE (18) 2023-24 – allindiabarexamination.com.
- Click on the register link displayed on the screen.
- Enter all the required details such as enrollment state, enrollment number, name, mobile number, etc.
Step 2 – Fill AIBE 2023-24 Application Form
After successful registration, the registration window will appear on the screen. Candidates will be required to enter the below-mentioned details:
- Candidate’s name: As per enrollment number
- Gender: M/F
- Father/husband’s name: As per enrollment number
- Date of birth: DD/MM/YY
- Contact details: Mobile number, email ID
- Permanent address: House number, street, landmark, city, state, PIN code
- Educational details: Name of college, course duration, year of admission, year of passing, master’s degree or any other degree (in case of multiple qualifications)
- Enrollment number: As it appears in the enrollment certificate – Enrollment number and year of enrollment
- Candidate type and category: Fresh or repeat, Category status – General/SC/ST/OBC, Sub-category – PwD (if applicable)
- Exam centers: Candidates can select up to three exam centers according to their preference
- Question paper language: Select any one language from the available 11 languages (List of languages are given below)
- Upload documents: Photograph (10 – 15 Kb), Signature (10 – 15 Kb), Self-attested copy of enrollment certificate (50 – 500 Kb), A scanned copy of Photo ID (50 – 500 Kb)
Step 3 – AIBE Registration Submission
After entering all the details in the application form, candidates should ensure that all the information entered is correct.
Click on the declaration box and submit the application form.
Candidates will receive their registration ID and password on their email ID and phone number.
Step 4 – AIBE XVIII (18) Application Fee Payment
Candidates will be required to log in to pay the application fee using their registration ID and password.
AIBE 18 application fee can be paid in online mode using credit card/debit card/net banking.
AIBE XVIII (18) Application Fee 2023-24
- General/OBC: Rs. 3500 (Fee) + Rs. 60 (Bank Charges) = Rs. 3560 (Total)
- SC/ST: Rs. 2500 (Fee) + Rs. 60 (Bank Charges) = Rs. 2560 (Total)
AIBE XVIII (18) Admit Card 2023-24
BCI will issue the AIBE 18 admit card on October 20, 2023. Candidates who have successfully completed the application process will be eligible to download the admit card from the official website. The AIBE 18 admit card will carry all important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, photo, exam date, timings, exam center details, etc. Candidates must appear for the AIBE exam as per the details mentioned in the admit card.
